About Me

Nice to meet you!

My name is Ashton Ellis and I'm a calligrapher and handlettering artist in Vancouver, Canada.  Some of my favourite things in life are a good cup of tea, a solid pair of lashes, and a hike in the great outdoors.

As a full-time research coordinator and a world champion athlete, I found myself needing a creative outlet. I have always been obsessed with perfect handwriting, so I should have known after my first calligraphy class in 2019 that I would fall in love! 

My goal as an artist is to channel that same work ethic and attention to detail from my work in science and competitive cheerleading to create beautiful, memorable pieces that will contribute to your special moments.
